Lap 32 incident involving cars #72 and #88: No Further Action

Car #88 tried to lap car #72 into turn 7. Because car #88 was on the wet part of the track, they had to be gentle on the brakes, but they still spun when they tried to make the corner.

Because car #72 was under blue flags, the stewards deem both cars equally to blame, as the #88 would be expecting them to yield the position since they were already alongside before entering the braking area.

The fact that #88 then lost the rear of the car on corner entry makes this an unavoidable incident at that point, without it being reckless, so no further action.

The full decision document will be made available to the team managers after the race.
