Global Endurance Cup 23/24

For season 3, the Global Endurance Academy will not be returning. Instead, we are running a single-driver series on Friday nights before the GES. It was created with the Michelin Le Mans Cup (WEC) and Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMSA) in mind and is an ideal stepping stone for drivers to gain experience and get their licence upgraded to unlock participation in the GES or higher classes, like LMP2 which requires at least a Silver licence.
For the classes, we have chosen for one prototype and one GT class.
The prototype class is the dentist class: LMP3. An ideal car to learn to drive prototype cars, as it does have the downforce but quite a bit less power under the hood than it’s faster siblings. Both the Norma and the Ligier are available.
The GT class will be GT4. We will be using the Porsche Cayman and the Toyota Supra with the next generation of their physics to improve the drivability and make them able to race even closer together.
The full list of available cars:
- Ligier JS P320 LMP3
- Norma M30 LMP3
- Porsche 718 Cayman GT4
- Toyota Supra GR GT4
We will be following the GES calendar with the exception of Daytona, because the ROAR qualifying race will take place on Friday night before the 24h. We also won’t be going to Barcelona as we don’t need a pre-season test in the GEC. All rounds will consist of a single 2-hour race.
The season finale will take place on the Saturday before the Global Endurance 24. It will be a 2h40 race.

To join the Global Endurance Series – or any official Global Endurance event in 2023/24 for that matter – all drivers need to be in possession of a Season Pass or Event Pass. All revenue that’s generated from these passes is going to covering the costs of running the events (servers, broadcasts, website, TeamSpeak, software licences, et cetera).
You can acquire a Season Pass for only € 16.00, which will allow you entry in all of Global Endurance’s events between August 2023 and June 2024, unlocking 190 hours of racing action in the GES, GEC and GT Challenge, not even including any short-format series and special events we may host during the season.
Is € 16.00 too much or do/can you only want to compete in the GEC (at first) anyway? You can get an Event Pass for the GEC only for a mere € 1.80. Upgrading to a Season Pass after purchasing an Event Pass for the GEC will be available for the remaining € 14.20.
There are also ways to get a discount on your Season Pass or Event Pass by volunteering as a steward, in the broadcast team or in one of the available management roles. Interested? Send Danny de Haas a DM on Discord (username: dannydehaas).
The website will be updated between now and the first week of July to accommodate the purchase of Season or Event Passes. We expect the accepted payment method to be PayPal only.
To participate in LMP3, you must have a Bronze licence or higher. In GT4, the grid will be split in GT4 PRO for Platinum, Gold and Silver and GT4 AM for Bronze and White. No differences in the cars, just a different classification for the less-experienced drivers.
Signup will start on Monday, 10 July 2023 at 20:00 CEST. The maximum amount of cars admitted in the GEC is 45. If we receive more than 60 entries, a second split will be added, most likely with GT4 only.
Signups will close at midnight on Sunday, 13 August 2023 or sooner if the maximum number of entries has been reached. Signups may re-open during the season.
