How do we appeal a Stewards Decision?

Category: Events

Stewards Decisions may be appealed by the Team Manager up until one week after the chequered flag, under the condition that they can show new evidence that supports the Driver’s case.

Appeals will be reviewed by members of the Series Management that were not involved in the original
Decision. They can either support the original decision and dismiss the appeal or come to a different decision based on the provided evidence and their own review of the original incident.

Team Managers may only appeal decisions that involve their Cars.

Whatever the outcome of the review, that is the final decision. Any attempts to argue the decision after the final decision may be met with further penalties which include, but are not limited to, Team Penalty Points, penalty points on the Driver’s License, Grid Penalties or Points Deductions.

PROCEDURE

To appeal a decision, Team Managers must create a Requests ticket on Discord and clearly and formally state the decision they wish to appeal and explain the reasoning for the appeal. This must ALWAYS be accompanied by evidence that was not available to the Stewards at the time of the original decision. This NEW evidence does NOT include video or replay footage, because the Stewards will already have looked at the incident from every possible angle, including onboard, overhead, et cetera – including the telemetry data that’s visible in the game.
